Cultural Influences: Andrei Tarkovsky, Marilynne Robinson, Paul Pope, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Jon J Muth, George Harrison and Akira Kurosawa.

Environment: Studio, cafes, museums, parks, bars, subways, lobbies, stoops, waiting rooms. Lots of beat up books, brushes, spilt ink, guitars, red and yellow fruit, coffee, orphaned scraps of paper.

Philosophy: Show up, "notice what you notice."
