“In 1805, Lewis and Clark ran out of whiskey on the banks of the Columbia River in the Columbia River Gorge. In 2014, two guys from Hood River, Oregon, decided the dry spell had lasted long enough. They quit their day jobs and started making distilled spirits with a long-lost dash of adventure and fortitude. While Roy and Chris perfected their recipes, we told their story in packaging, merchandise, tasting room experiences, and web and social channels. We’re certain that much like Lewis and Clark’s journals, the legend of Camp 1805’s daring exploits will be passed down through generations.”
