“For a PLANSPONSOR magazine article about socially responsible investing. Primarily an ink drawing, I colored it using Photoshop and drew some elements in Illustrator. One of the challenges I faced while working on this illustration occurred during the concept stage when I was illustrating the large fish. I intended for the fish to be read in two ways: first, as one large fish and, second, as a school of many fish. Compositionally, it was important that this transition appear gradual and natural, as opposed to abrupt.”
