“For a Nautilus magazine article describing the science behind emergency exits. This was one of the most challenging illustrations I have done, only because with so many geometric decorative shapes covering the space, the illustration could have easily flattened out. Although I did want this drawing to appear decorative and somewhat flat, it was equally important to express the depth of the room.”
