“Prove You’re Human is one piece of a hand-painted typographic installation created in 2016 for the Laguna College of Art and Design’s gallery, in Laguna Beach, California. The show was made up of four key pieces of text drawn from password forms, Wi-Fi–connection error messages and CAPTCHA tests. The original drawings were made through a combination of techniques—calligraphic brush lettering, illustration and manipulation of digital fonts—and then were scanned, projected onto the gallery walls and painted over the course of a week.”
