“Artek approached us to design a visual identity for its new flagship store, Artek Helsinki. Besides selling Artek’s world-renowned products, other selected homeware items and some books and magazines, the store hosts a wide range of events and talks. Our task was to come up with a visual system based on Artek’s existing corporate identity, which we layered with an additional typeface, a set of illustration panels and new visual guidelines. The illustrations rely on close-ups of distinct forms and details within the Artek product range, all cropped into a square shape.”
