“The AIANY Design Awards program honors outstanding work by New York–based architects, and architecture projects based in the city. We were invited to design a new graphic identity for the 2016 Design Awards. Our designs included a graphic set of elements, which expanded from a 21-segment ‘display digit’ to a dynamic group of floating forms, celebrating the turning of the new year—and its new number. The applications included a poster, a send-out and the design of an exhibition at the Center for Architecture.”
