“For its new visual language Material Design, Google drew inspiration from the material world—paper, layering, space and light—to create an interface that feels tangible and grounded in reality. To celebrate Material Design’s launch at the Google I/O 2014 conference, Google’s User Experience Alliance team challenged us to interpret its philosophy in a limited edition printed takeaway. Our solution contained nine graphic cards and one sketchbook.”
