(series includes #265) "Foosball" :30 (Open on 250lb man in sweats and thick glasses with sport straps. He's carrying a dufflle bag as he walks slowly toward the camera) Anncr. (VO): If MTV were a foosball player, he would dominate the pro tour unmercifully) (He's entering the fray of a foosball tournament that's being held in some sort of off-brand bingo hall/rec center kind of place. As he walks in he caues a bit of a stir in the modest crowd) Anncr. (VO): The ferocity of his beat downs would be the stuff of legend. (He steps up to the table as the referee hands his opponent the ball) Anncr. (VO): ...he'd display a smorgasborg of brutal offensive violations. There's an amazing display on the foos table. With every goal in the montage there's a loud "clack" of the ball in the goal) Anncr. (VO): ...shots such as "The Prism"… (Cut to an overhead shot of the foosball table as each shot is executed. It looks like a diagram and in the corner a super appears with the shot name. fig. 1 (A). Anncr. (VO): ... "The Jahlallabad" and of course the definitive backcourt crowd-pleaser, "The Sodomizer." (Cut to shots of our guy holding a big check for $1200 and shaking hands with an offcial) Anncr. (VO): If MTV were a foosball player, he would easily dominate the pro tour unmercifully. Super: If MTV were a foosball player, he would easily dominate the pro tour unmercifully. ------------------------------------------------------------- (Single and part of series) "Sales Rep" :30 (Open on an oldercar pulling into a parking spot in one of those low-rent, aging, windowless office parks) Anncr. (VO): If MTV were a regional sales rep for an industrial supplies company, he would easily garner the highest sales in the Tri-State area, even though it was just his first year doing it and he didn't have the good accounts yet... (Cut to interior of a car where a balding Greg Gumble-looking guy is gathering catalogs. He looks in the rearview, straightens his tie and gets out of the car to enter the offices of some client) Anncr. (VO): ...And then when he meets the buyers, he'd present the products to them but he wouldn't sweat them, he'd just lay back in the cut like "that's what's up, take it or leave it"... (Cut to sales rep making a "take it or leave it" gesture, then picks up a baseball from the buyer's desk) Anncr. (VO): ...the buyers would wonder "what is it about him? He's not sweating me..." (Cut to balding client who would never say 'sweating' looking at the rep) Anncr. VO: ...MTV would easily be the most dominant industrial supplies rep in the Tri-State area, if it were an industrial product sales rep. (Cut to our guy walking out. He steals the baseball) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "Nail Artist" :30 (Open on an interior of a manicure/nail shop. Pan down a row of occupied nail tech desks and rest on an Asian woman. She's working on a woman's nails) Anncr. (VO): If MTV were a nail artist she would be the most skilled nail artist in the entire city. (Pan across her desk, seeing the color swatches, graphics options, bottle of polish, tools, etc.) Anncr. (VO): She will have completed no less than three seperate vocational training programs. (Quick cuts of three diplomas on her wall) Anncr. (VO): The level of detail in her nailscapes would be unparalled. (Cut to a close-up of a unicorn on a nail) Anncr. (VO): Requiring the use of a specially manufactured occular that is thrice the magnification of other nail tech's occulars. (A mother and daughter enter the store and the nail tech waves them over to a seat) Anncr. (VO): Which proves definitively if MTV were a nail artist she would be the most skilled nail artist in the entire city. Super: If MTV were a nail artist she would be the most skilled nail artist in the entire city.
