This 30-minute 'video art piece' was designed to provoke and draw attention to the Chambers Hotel bar. Video monitors above the bar showed apparently live surveillance shots of provocative staged scenes in private areas throughout the hotel, including guest room interiors. This 'art film' created plenty of buzz for the hotel and the Chambers bar, which became a destination in itself. While some guests got the joke, others expressed concerns that the 'surveillance video' was real.
