In Peru, the construction industry is booming—and a growing source of pollution. The consequences of this could be life threatening, such as cancer caused by solid particles in the environment. The University of Engineering and Technology is building a new campus as well. So UTEC and FCB Mayo created the first billboard that purifies the air. Installed in the middle of the construction site, it absorbs the polluted air, filters it and returns pure air to the surroundings, benefiting all residents of the construction area as well as the workers.
