The Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada, client
Surrender Your Say 2:45 "Tourette Syndrome (TS) is an incredibly complex and difficult disorder to understand. It is completely random and variable; sufferers might experience physical tics, vocal outbursts, obsessive-compulsive-disorder and anxiety attacks. Sometimes all at once. To raise awareness for TS, the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada used Twitter to help the public feel the lack of control that comes with TS. It asked the public to join Surrender Your Say, and turn over control of their Twitter handles for 24 hours. The foundation then randomly tweeted strange and even offensive tics into the feeds of people who signed up, generating massive awareness for the disorder."
