The eighth issue of Matador is issue 'G', the central theme of which is 'Gigante,' or 'Giant'. Matador G is typeset in Akzidenz Grotesk (issued by Berthold in 1896) and includes contributions by Sol Lewitt and Zaha Hadid, amongst others. The cover image is taken from an article on a collection of images from the archives of the Spanish Ministry for Education, Culture and Sport, of Spanish women taking part in a state-organised activities programme.
