Photonica, the Japanese-based stock photography agency, commissioned TODA to create a campaign to promote its brand and showcase its collections of stock photography. TODA developed a concept magazine called HOTO (a Japanese reference to 'assurance of excellent quality') which showcased Photonica's imagery in a series of conceptual pieces that evolve in form and theme with each issue. HOTO 5, the 'Contraction Issue,' folds down from a full size press sheet to a pocket size booklet. 62 pages, 3 1/8 x 4 5/8, 4-color, accordion fold.
