Converse, client
During WWII, Chuck Taylor left his position at Converse and enlisted as a middle-aged man. Chuck quickly rose to the rank of captain and developed athletic programs and team sports for the Army Air Corps. Converse has reissued a limited number of 1940's Chuck Taylor® All Star® shoes originally manufactured for the U.S. armed forces. The commemorative packaging includes a wooden case, historical brochure and a military I.D. inspired hangtag.
