ProArts Collective was incorporated in 1993 to serve as a platform for the promotion, production and preservation of African-American Theater Arts in Austin, Texas. 'Hip Hop Theater' was one of their many annual presentations. Hip Hop was the format because it communicates in languages and stories of today's generation. We made the creative speak that same language.
