We developed promotional materials including this award book for the AIGA Detroit's annual design review. They wanted something that was thought-provoking—for both clients and designers—about the role of design in business. The concept and passage are based on a talk by Kevin Budelmann about how the profession of design is evolving. People figures made from stencil counterspaces and hand images served as metaphors for people, design and the act of making. 50 pages, 11 x 14 1/2, saddle-stitched, 4-color throughout.
