This rather dreadful animated credit sequence for the film Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events features character art originally developed for the merchandising program. The sequence appears at the end of the film and conveys, at the request of the film's director, the sad fact that Count Olaf's pursuit of the poor Baudelaire orphans continues long after the screen goes dark. The result is quite miserable, indeed.
