The flipbook format is a cinematic way to express the urgency of the genocide atrocity happening in Sudan. A subtractive population map shows the systematic killing and evacuation of a Darfurian village. The population marks rapidly disappear, forming GENOCIDE before vanishing. Distributed at a fundraising event, a back gatefold encourages the viewer to make a donation and pass the book on, turning the invitees into fundraisers and widening the circle of action beyond the event.
