The goal was to surround the Niketown retail experience to promote two key initiatives prior to the Tour de France. The first was to raise awareness and funds for The Lance Armstrong Foundation. Yellow Live Strong wristbands were sold at all Niketown stores and online at wearyellow.com. The second initiative was to promote Lance's quest for an unprecedented sixth consecutive Tour de France win, which he later accomplished.
