Pentagram created playful signage and environmental graphics for an expansion of the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh. The signage helps to establish an atmosphere of exploration and activity at the museum. The entrance marquee appears in dimensional letterforms reminiscent of superhero comics, and the donor wall in the lobby is composed of colorful fluorescent Plexiglas panels. Throughout the museum, the signage utilizes inexpensive materials and fixtures which can be easily repaired or replaced.
