As the retail environment becomes increasingly more self-service, making an informed purchase is becoming more difficult. Danner's packaging was designed to make it easier for the consumer to find the right solution for their specific needs. This was achieved by breaking down their different audiences and creating a visual shorthand that would speak to each consumer. Without a salesperson to guide them, the consumer, be they a hunter, officer, hiker or tradesman, is guided by the packaging.
