Diseño:méxico showcases work of contemporary Mexican industrial designers. The challenge was to organize and edit a large amount of diverse material, and to produce a book that was interesting as an object. We kept type on a quiet level and avoided any categorization by connecting the objects in a fluid sequence through formal and conceptual links. For the cover we selected a non-traditional material (eva foam), creating an unexpected tactile sensation. 148 pages, 7 1/2 x 9 5/8, perfect-bound, 4-color throughout. Die-cut Neoprene cover.
