Morla Design's challenge for Stanford University's Department of Comparative Literature posters was to create a series where the first poster introduced the whole lecture series while subsequent posters allude to future lectures. Poster imagery depicts six stacked books, with trimmed signatures facing outward. As each lecture is announced, the corresponding poster shows the book with the spine facing front that illustratively depicts not only the content of the lecture, but also references the previous lectures.
