Most residents could not return to their homes in New Orleans for at least three weeks after Hurricane Katrina hit. They found their homes without power and their refrigerators filled with spoiled food. Most refrigerators were placed outside for pick up and disposal. Eventually, some residents started to spray paint personal messages or political statements on the fridges. This is a 'snapshot' of the frustration and humor of some citizens. 44 pages, 4 1/2 x 6 1/4, saddle-stitched, 4-color.
