Cordis creates its signature sound by fusing an original blend of custom-made and traditional ethnic instruments. Their debut release Here on Out possesses a richly layered, narrative quality without any vocals. We aimed to reflect the nature of their music while remaining visually abstract. Our CD packaging combines hand-distressed photocopies, hand-worked type, offset lithography, custom-designed diecuts, folds and a rubber band in a design that invites curiosity and discovery.
