Alberto Casari, a Peruvian conceptual artist, asked us to design an exhibition catalog. He had hand-produced a mock-up on A-4 sheets to organize the contents. The dummy contained photocopies of texts and images, hand-written notes and reminders. It struck us that the very layout and mark-ups served as a reflection of his work. Our design proposal was simple: Turn the dummy into a book and add typographic transcriptions of the text. 108 pages, plus covers, 9 x 11 1/2, perfect-bound, 4-color.
