Brief: Design stamps for Australia Post promoting Earth Hour 2009. Our solution: focused on three simple actions for Earth Hour: turning lights out, switching power points off and saving energy (by unplugging). The two local stamps featured illustrations of nocturnal animals to highlight the 'lights out' message. The international stamp included an orangutan, a species endangered by humanity's cavalier approach to the environment. The stamps raised awareness of Earth Hour and encouraged positive involvement.
