Xococava (pronounced shoco-cava), an extension of its big brother restaurant, Cava, is a whimsical hybrid of a stand-up tapas bar and ice-cream parlor. Inspired by Spanish and Mexican cultures of chocolate and Italy's love affair with gelato, Xococava features artisanal ice cream and handmade chocolate. An identity program that utilizes strong typographic forms extends to the chocolate periodic table that uses two-letter combinations to identify the different flavors of chocolate.
