Mah Jongg: Crak Bam Dot! was published in conjunction with the exhibition Project Mah Jongg at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York. The book and exhibition explore the connections between mah jongg and Jewish-and Chinese-American cultures. Guest artists—including Isaac Mizrahi, Bruce McCall, Maira Kalman and Christoph Neimann—were asked to interpret the game through their distinct sensibilities. The book was designed with the proportions and rounded corners of a mah-jongg tile. 84 pages, plus 4-page cover, 6 3/4 x 12 1/4, 4-color, plus 2 PMS, perfect-bound, two different paper stocks, metallic touch plates, spot varnish, foil on cover.
