Lumpen magazine is a free quarterly independent publication founded in Chicago that, for over eighteen years, has served as an outsider opinion on culture, politics, art, music and action all geared towards today's extreme thinker. In 2009, Lumpen relaunched its design under the direction of Plural, with a fresh perspective, bolder typography and imagery, a larger format, wider distribution in the states and, of course, bigger ideas.
