The brief was to inspire pedestrians to 'think' and see the world from a different perspective, to remind them that creativity can happen anywhere and everywhere. The solution was to take an everyday object people pay little attention to, and transform it into something people will notice, without making it look or feel like advertising. Loose-leaf notebook pages made of heavy-duty 3M anti-slip adhesive vinyl were designed for, and affixed to sidewalks beneath bike-racks.
