Andrew Bird is a Chicago-based multi-instrumentalist, lyricist and whistler who seamlessly blends traditional instrumentation and contemporary experimentation. For this poster we began with an illustration of the rural-Illinois barn that Bird often uses to write and record much of his music, but replaced the standard grain silos with Andrew Bird's signature 'Janus horn' speakers that he uses during his live performances. We like to imagine what it would sound like if this structure actually existed. Epic. 19 x 25, 3-color screen print.
