Les Carnivores Infidèles by Catherine Lefebvre is a fresh take on vegetarian cuisine that gives a bite to veggie recipes and challenges meat lovers to take the leap. The author, a DT.P. in nutrition, combines fun and useful facts with recipes of her own as well as recipes shared by Twitter contacts. The challenge with this project was to design a vegetarian book that would appeal to the masses with a design that wouldn't go in the traditional green and sterilized look and most importantly, that would pique men's interest. We also had to incorporate health facts and statistics in a way that would call out to the reader in an informative and fun way. The design is bold, raw and vivid, with a vintage touch, conveying the duality and warmth of the project. 180 pages, 9 x 9 3/8, 4-color, perfect-bound.
