Bad Babies,' is an editorial fashion story for Earnshaw's featuring children's clothing. We thought it would be fun to create shots of babies getting booked for various crimes—a crying child is booked for disturbing the peace and a child scribbling on the wall with a crayon is picked up on a vandalism rap. We went to great lengths to be authentic: We typed everything out on a vintage manual typewriter, spent hours studying the typography and design of booking sheets and court papers and looked at many old mug shots for reference.
