To create buzz around the opening of a new restaurant offering an all-sausage menu we hand-delivered these invitations to food critics, bloggers and other cultural influencers, asking them to join our grand opening party. The invites were T-shirts packaged as sausages. If recipients wore their T-shirt to the restaurant on opening day, they received a free sausage of their choice. On opening day, long lines of people wearing their custom WVRST T-shirts packed the restaurant to capacity. By the end of the night every sausage had sold out, and both online and local media were publishing rave reviews.
