“The Horniman Museum and Gardens are a free, locally treasured and internationally renowned attraction in South London. The museum houses important collections of anthropology and musical instruments, and also an acclaimed aquarium and natural history collection. The idea of a ‘collection of collections’ was the starting point for the identity. We took the idea of a bracket device and reflected it to create the distinctive H mark. We were also involved in the design of all wayfinding and external signage, including interpretation signs, maps and website.”
