“Our challenge was to create a new environmental design that would be both fresh and timeless "but most importantly, provide comfort, ease and positive distractions for children and their caregivers. The design uses silhouettes of nature to connect to the park outside, creating a visual interplay of daylight and shadow. Within this envelope, small surprises and large-scale wooden animal friends carved by heritage carousel artists are strategically placed to help welcome, distract and delight.”
