“Founded in Detroit in 1987, Alternatives For Girls has impacted the lives of many high-risk and homeless girls. Its prevention, shelter and outreach programs have empowered more than 100,000 girls to date. For the AFG annual report, we chose to use a large-scale zine format, bright colors and impactful black-and-white portraits to capture the essence of the organization. Economically printed on newsprint, the report impressed prospective donors in both scale and content.” 24 pages, 11 x 15, 4-color digital printing by Clark Graphics Inc., sewing machine stitched.
