“The United States Postal Service is one of America’s most storied infrastructure achievements. Recently, the USPS sought to update its image and, more importantly, streamline the retail experience. To unify the visual language of USPS, modernize its aesthetic, and rethink both wayfinding and signage, a robust three-bar layout system was developed. Flexible enough to accommodate diverse information, yet cohesive across the USPS various footprints nationwide, this system was eventually applied to all 35,000 stores.”
