In Harm's Way.' Sacramento-based photographer Max Whittaker traveled to Afghanistan to spend six weeks embedded with the Army's 82nd Airborne Division as they continued their fight against the Taliban. Feeling that Afghanistan had become 'the forgotten war' in the shadow of Iraq, he wanted to chronicle the ongoing conflict from the perspective of its soldiers.
