Reach Foundation, client

The Reach Foundation organized an event whereby a group of business elite and young people went to prison together for 36 hours. Their aim was to bring these two traditionally disparate groups together with the hope that they would gain some understanding, respect and empathy towards one another and create a greater connection within the community. I was commissioned to observe and photograph what unfolded over the 36 hours. I shot with an open brief in a journalistic manner. The images were used by the Reach Foundation in various printed material to enhance awareness and financial and practical support.
