James Whitlow Delano posed one question to photographers he’d met all over the world, after the untimely passing of his sister Jeanne: “Share with me one photograph that says to you, ‘Mercy.’" Such a body of work, he hoped, could contribute in a meaningful way to the effort to expand awareness about the critical role that enlightened hospice care can play. The Mercy Project Inochi is a charity photo-book project featuring the work of 118 photographers coming together to create awareness and raise funds for hospice and palliative care.
