For an article titled 'Heroes Among Us,' about a Nova Scotia couple Allen and Violet Large who won eleven million dollars in the lottery and gave it all away. Despite living in a modest old farmhouse and driving a 1987 Dodge Diplomat, Violet was quoted as saying 'Money can't buy happiness. We have everything we need; I have Allen, and he has me.' As a photographer, I tried to focus on the emotional connection between these two incredible people.
