“Doctoral student Nathan Jud identified a tiny 120 million-year-old fossil that raises new questions about plant evolution. He was photographed in the stacks at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. With one million specimens, the museum houses the largest plant fossil collection in the world. This photograph was used in a feature article titled ‘Imprint on History’ in the University of Maryland’s TERP magazine, winter 2014 issue.”
