A suburb of Cape Town, Langa is the oldest township in the Cape Town area. It was founded after the Native Urban Areas Act and at the beginning of the apartheid in 1927. Black Africans were banished from the city of Cape Town, to the suburbs. Today more than 50,000 people live in Langa. These images were used online and in portfolio books.
