On a conservation photography assignment, along the coast of Mexico's Mesoamerican Reef, I observed one of nature's most extraordinary behaviors—the aerial acrobatics of a juvenile magnificent frigatebird (Fregata magnificens) diving into the water to catch a small silver fish while maintaining flight.
