Karmina Sans follows the steps of its successful cousin, Karmina. It shares the same technical excellence and achieves similar stylistic features, but the new sans version proposes a much more versatile tool for editorial designers. The typeface combines a significantly large x-height with relatively compressed letterforms, which grant Karmina Sans outstanding legibility and economy. The heavy weights deliver one of the darkest and most powerful impressions out there while the text weights produce a pleasant and vibrant texture. The quality of the typeface has been rewarded with Bronze at the Ed-Awards 2010 competition.
