Kosmos Spoetzl, a German immigrant, was Shiner Beer's first brewmaster and the founder of the K. Spoetzl brewery in Shiner, Texas. Shiner Kosmos Reserve is brewed to honor his contribution to the heritage of the Shiner beer brand. This limited-edition brew is only found in the Shiner Family Reunion mixed-brew package, and is fiercely sought by Shiner beer fans who sometimes remix the number of beers in the Reunion pack to contain more Kosmos.
