The Rooster Walk Music and Arts Festival is a scholarship fundraiser in Martinsville, Virginia, to remember two young music lovers that died, Edwin 'The Rooster' Penn and Walker Shank. Close friends decided a memorial music festival was a fitting way to remember them. The Penn-Shank Memorial LLC was created, with the idea that proceeds from the festival go toward a college scholarship fund at their alma mater, Martinsville High School.
